INTERIOR OF THE HOUSE
The Chalstrom House at St. Andrew's features a large sunken living room with a 20 foot ceiling and a large, functioning fireplace.
A grand brick colonnade surrounds the house on the first floor, while white wooden pillars grace the upstairs balcony. Graceful live oaks shade the circular driveway and the front entrance. The sight and sounds of the passing St. Charles street car are always a delight to New Orleanians as well as to visitors.
Our kitchen is well equipped. An island in the middle features a double sink and a dishwasher. There are 2 built-in convection ovens, a stainless steel refrigerator and freezer built into another wall. In another part of the kitchen there is a second sink and dishwasher and an ice-maker.

The crystal chandelier in the dining room overhangs a long solid wooden table.
Another fireplace adds warmth to the comfortable den area.
BEAUTIFUL BACK YARD
Bridal parties will have access to the second floor changing area. Is there a bride who would not love throwing her bouquet from the grand rear balcony?
Double doors provide a dramatic passageway from the den to the back yard.
